Return & Exchange Policy
At Scents of Exile, we are committed to delivering high-quality fragrances. Our policy is designed to ensure you receive the exceptional performance and luxurious experience you deserve, while maintaining strict standards to guarantee product authenticity.
1. Performance-Based Guarantee
We offer a refund or exchange guarantee solely based on the longevity and projection of the fragrance. If the performance does not meet our promised standards, you have the right to request a return within 3 days of receiving your order.
2. The Testing Protocol
- If a Tester is Provided: You must test the fragrance and evaluate its performance exclusively using the included sample vial. Opening, spraying, or unsealing the original large bottle is strictly prohibited and will immediately void your right to return.
- If No Tester is Provided: You are permitted to test the fragrance directly from the original bottle with a maximum allowance of 3 sprays only to evaluate longevity and sillage.
3. Shipping Damage & Unboxing Video
To protect both parties against shipping liabilities, an unboxing video is a mandatory requirement. You must record a clear, continuous, uncut video showing the opening of the external shipping package for the very first time. If the bottle arrives broken or damaged due to transit, an immediate replacement will be issued based solely on this video. Claims of breakage without an unboxing video from the beginning will not be entertained.
4. Product Integrity & Technical Inspection
Our bottles are equipped with a safety-sealed atomizer to prevent tampering with the internal composition. Upon receiving a return request, the returned bottle will undergo a meticulous technical inspection and precision weighing at our facility.
The right to return will be permanently forfeited, and the product will be shipped back to you at your expense, if any of the following are detected:
- Any tampering, forceful opening, or damage to the bottle's cap/atomizer.
- Usage of the original bottle when a tester was provided.
- A decrease in the fragrance weight that exceeds the permitted testing allowance (3 sprays).
- Any alteration in the purity of the liquid (e.g., attempts to inject water, alcohol, or foreign substances).
5. Acceptance Terms & Shipping Costs
- Returns will not be accepted based on personal dislike or subjective taste, provided the fragrance's performance matches our standards.
- Initial shipping fees are non-refundable as they cover the courier services utilized.
- The customer is entirely responsible for the return shipping costs.
